Sr.
Water/Wastewater PM & Client Service Manager, Minneapolis,
MN (Job#100119) - The primary duties of this role
include: Project Management: Planning, directing and
monitoring all aspects of multi-discipline civil
infrastructure projects in varying sizes and degrees of
technical complexity for the Minnesota Water Program.
Projects could range from $100k up to >$2M. This individual
would manage the larger design efforts and serve as a senior
advisor and client manager on multiple smaller and medium
sized projects. Business Development and Client Manager
Role: Establishes client relations and drives a significant
program of water/wastewater related business in the
local/regional market. Familiarity and established
relationships with water utility clients in the state and/or
region is a must. Has desire to lead strategic project and
client pursuits and pull in appropriate technical resources
to win project work. Other Responsibilities: Involved with
the production and coordination of several design projects
or technical studies (based upon size and complexity of
those projects) concurrently including the design and
engineering of existing water/wastewater treatment plant
projects, new treatment plant design, pumping system and
pump station design, collection system and distribution
system planning and design, and facility condition
assessment/utility management. Utilizes appropriate
technical resources and staff to meet client and project
needs. Coordinates workload of the staff through the entire
project development, design and construction stages. With
direction, executes the strategic marketing plan leading the
development of client relationships and the active pursuit
of new client opportunities and projects (with both new and
existing clients). Utilizes HDR project management to track
the financial aspects of the projects, and coordinates and
adjusts the work effort with the team to ensure work is
completed within the parameters of the agreed to schedule
and project budget. Utilizes HDR pursuit management tools to
successfully engage and pursue targeted client opportunities
to participate in the growth of local water program.
Requirements: Bachelor or Masters
Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, PE required. 10+
years in water/wastewater system design for public utility
and/or industrial clients. Demonstrated leadership skills,
previous team coordination and successful project management
experience. Previous consulting experience with an A/E or
engineering consulting firm a plus.

Able to produce documentation required

new conventional power generation, energy conservation, and

appropriate on projects where technical background merits
such a role. Utilize HDR project management tools to track

County Road & Bridge Operations Manager - The Road &
Bridge Operations Manager (Administrative Engineer) reports
directly to the Transportation Department Director. This
position oversees an annual budget of $18 million dollars
and directs the activities of approximately 90 permanent
employees. The Road & Bridge Operations Manager holds
primary responsibility for the planning, direction and
coordination of highway maintenance and operations along the
county's 560 mile highway system and also ensures
coordination of bridge maintenance and repair for the
county's 140 bridges. The ideal candidate will have a
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and six years of
professional experience including two years at or above the
level of Senior Professional Engineer and licensure as a
Professional Engineer in the field of civil or highway
engineering with the Minnesota Board of Registration OR
Minnesota license eligible within six months. Salary:
