MnSPE Committees

Are you looking for a way to maximize the return on your MnSPE membership investment? Join a committee!

No, we're not going to ask you to sit through a bunch of boring and pointless meetings facilitated by a taskmaster committee chair with an unnatural love for Robert's Rules. Instead, committee service:

  • Can help you build valuable connections with other MnSPE members
  • Offers a unique opportunity for you to build leadership, management and strategic planning skills in a safe environment
  • Makes a positive impact on the value of MnSPE for you and your fellow members

Committees are formed in August of each year, though new committee members are welcome at any time.

Learn more or sign up for any committee or other volunteer opportunity
by completing the brief form at the bottom of this page.

    Outreach Volunteers

Interested in volunteering for an engineering outreach event? Join the MnSPE outreach volunteers group. This is not a traditional committee. When volunteer opportunities arise (career fairs, interactive engineering events classroom visits, etc.), staff will contact our outreach volunteers to fill available time slots. Volunteer based on what works for your schedule.
